2020 is a very special year for the Department as it marks the 25th anniversary of the Summer Seminar and we look forward to welcoming English language teachers from across the globe to Oxford in July and August for an unforgettable professional development experience in one of the Universitys most beautiful colleges.
The Summer Seminar has been designed for teachers of English as a Second Language who either teach secondary school pupils or adult learners and is delivered by a team of highly experienced international trainers. The seminar aims to give you an exhilarating and enriching experience.
In a series of highly practical workshops, youll collaborate with teachers from many different countries, so the programme is also an exercise in community building and international understanding. Youll live in Worcester College with classes held at Rewley House in central Oxford.
